Who Should
Attend?
Anyone interested
in learning how to set up camp, cook, work with woods tools and
ropes, as well as first aid and working with Webelos Scouts in the
outdoors. Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills and Webelos Leader
Outdoor Training will focus on the basic skills for working with
your Webelos Scouts and Boy Scouts.
IOLS is the outdoor requirement of the Position Specific Training
for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. To be considered a
trained leader, this course is required for Scoutmasters and
Assistant Scoutmasters who have not previously attended the Scout
Leader Basic course. The course is also a prerequisite for
attending Wood Badge for these positions.
Webelos Leader Outdoor Training aka Introduction to Outdoor Webelos
Leader Skills is a requirement of the Webelos Leader Training Award
and is strongly encouraged as a prerequisite for Webelos Leaders
considering Wood Badge Training.
